Motion Designer

With this position, I had the joy of working with different clients on multiple animations and visual content created with the goal of being seen by the different event attendees.

  • Created engaging Motion Design and Graphic Design pieces for different displays, screens, projection mapping and LED walls for a variety of clients, resulting in a huge gain in revenue generated by design work.
  • Worked on a company-wide rebrand, increasing the brand’s visibility and trust on social media.
  • Modeled and rendered 3D previsualization shots of events in different venues in order to preview to clients what different shows would look like, increasing customer trust in the company’s services.
  • Conceived an internal tool to unify branded signature creation, saving hours of manual labor for coworkers and lowered support requests by 80%.
Mental Checkpoint

Mental Checkpoint is a YouTube channel created by Nicolae Berbece, a romanian game developer, most commonly known for his game Move or Die, and owner of Those Awesome Guys, a video game publishing company. It hosts diverse videos that talk about different game design topics.

With this position, I was able to create instructive videos on diverse subjects related to video game development destined to be displayed on online video platforms.

  • Produced videos that resulted in a gain of over 3 million YouTube views and 100k+ subscribers.
  • Recorded relevant gameplay for different narration tracks.
  • Animated engaging title screen motion design compositions.
  • Added Sound Design / SFX to completed videos.
Momentum Mod

Momentum Mod is a first-person platforming game built on Valve’s Source Engine that centralizes movement-oriented game modes from various games like Counter-Strike, Team Fortress, Half-Life, and Titanfall. Speed is quite literally the name of the game, with each game mode offering a unique style of play centered around one shared goal: go fast!

With this position, I was able to create a huge variety of different multimedia pieces of content for the different needs of the game. I worked alongside many talented individuals that compose the Momentum Mod Team.

  • Redesigned and prototyped the game’s new User Interface and User Experience through its transition from VGUI to Panorama’s UI Framework, by developping a new design system, improving user usability, accessibility and reinforcing the game’s branding.
  • Oversaw, collaborated with and managed a team of developpers incorporating different UI/UX elements to the game, ensuring its fidelity in its development and improving communication across departments.
  • Created the game's branding, including logos and visuals.
  • Edited videos used in the game’s advertising, such as trailers and social media posts resulting in a wishlist signup of 59 000+ players and an active playtest registration of 47 000+ players.
  • Designed the game’s branding, including logos and visuals, improving the game’s visibility and recognizability on social medias.
  • Designed multiple pieces of graphic design, ranging from social media posts to banners, icons, art, thumbnails and many more. Ensuring uniform branding across the different aspects, sites and visuals of the game.
